  3. 03Every tool and system I useThe AI workflows, the prompts, my documentation systems, the operating system I run the studio on. The setup, not a lecture about the technology.
  4. 04Everything I publish, including everything paidThe complete Specification Library — free ones, $29 ones, and whatever comes after them — for as long as you are in.

Who this is for

This is probably for you if

  • Making spaces — or the things that live in them — is what you intend to be doing in ten years.
  • You are impatient about how good you are at it now.
  • You have real work in front of you: a project, a business, a build, a body of work taking shape.
  • You want plain judgement, including the times the answer is “don’t.”

It probably isn’t if

  • Design is a weekend interest, and that is the size you want it to stay.
  • You are looking for a course with modules and certificates.
  • You want someone to do the work for you.
  • You mostly want to be told you are right.
No hierarchy

There is no teacher–student hierarchy here.

Some people who join will be better designers than I am. Some will have been doing this longer. That is completely fine.

What I offer is not authority over your work. It is a specific body of knowledge, a distinct way of seeing, and a second perspective from someone who may notice things you do not.

You can use that perspective however you like.

I can be gentle, direct, highly critical, or somewhere in between. The point is not for me to tell you what to do. It is to help you see the work more clearly and make better decisions for yourself.

Limited to 5 seats this year.

My time is pretty limited as a father, a designer and a craftsperson so I’m opening this carefully.

I’ll take on five people initially, because that is what I can give proper attention to alongside my existing work.

I expect more places to open over time as my capacity changes, but I won’t increase the number simply because more people want to join.

If I think we would work well together but I can’t offer you a place yet, I’ll add you to the waitlist and let you know when the next place becomes available.
